 Happy Hallowe’en to everyone.  I hope you all had a safe, fun-filled evening.  It is not Hallowe’en yet, as I write this, but I already heard Christmas music in one of the stores yesterday!  Do you think that the stores are rushing the seasons just a bit?

Once again I am reveling in the memories created at our last gathering. Although we have to work hard, put ourselves out there for the good of the community and not always receive goodness back, it still is important to continue the work.

 It’s been some time since my last submission to the news letter and I’ve been quite busy, seems I just got off the golf course and it’s ready to snow!

 The feel of autumn is in the air. From my memory, it seems that each year the weather is warmer, longer into the fall than years past. I remember as a young parent, taking my kids out on Halloween, the air was cold and the ground was frozen. I hope that all our children have a safe and happy Halloween evening.

The annual Sisters In Spirit Vigil will be taking place October 4, 2008 in many communities throughout Canada.
